Although the warm weather is still lingering, Fall has arrived. This means you won't be able to escape pumpkin spiced lattes or pumpkin spiced anything! But besides enjoying the tastes of Fall, there are other great things to look forward to in Pittsburgh!

- Fall foliage : Enjoy the fantastic change in colors throughout Western Pennsylvania. We are lucky to experience a firework-esque, vibrant display all over the area. Take a stroll through a local park such as Raccoon Creek State Park or Moraine State Park. Also, take a short drive to Presque Isle and Laurel Highlands for more beautiful fall sights.

- Oktoberfest : Several local restaurants and towns host a variety of Oktoberfest events featuring German beers and foods. Restaurants such as Penn Brewery & Church Brew Works celebrate the occassion for 2-3 weeks. If you miss the local events, head down to Hofbrauhaus anytime for what feels like Oktoberfest year round!

- Penns Colony : A celebration of early Arts, Crafts and history of colonial America. Featuring battle reinactments, live music, food booths and artisans. This family friendly annual event takes place just north of Pittsburgh in Saxonburg, September 26th & 27th.
